Solange Pessoa
Solange Pessoa (b. 1961 / Minas Gerais, Brazil) lives and works in Belo Horizonte (BR). Her paintings and sculptures are shaped by the concepts of time, intuition and ancient knowledge as well as the natural elements of her surroundings. In her work she favors organic forms and materials leading to an archeological understanding and preserving of cultural heritage. Her works have been shown at Gasworks, London (2016) and Museo Mineiro, Belo Horizonte (2013), amongst others.
The sculpture is not on display in KölnSkulptur #9 anymore.
